SUNDAY FEBRUARY 28 SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE OPERA “DIVAS”

At every musical performance there’s that special moment when the Heroine enters the scene and strolls into the spotlight. The entire audience sits in rapt attention, as the magical sound of her voice transports them.

Whether you prefer Maria Callas’ Norma, Leontyne Price’s Aida, Beverly Sills’ Lucia or Anna Netrebko’s Lady Macbeth, there’s one thing that remains true: Divas Rule the Operatic Roost!

Celebrate the music and theatrics of Opera’s DIVAS! at SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE OPERA on SUNDAY FEBRUARY 28 at 5:30.

Stellina’s own Divas, the sopranos and mezzos of Boston’s OPERA-ON-TAP will present a three-act program of music focusing on opera’s most famous characters. The line-up includes some of the greatest operas of Verdi, Puccini and Mozart, with legendary figures like Tosca, Madama Butterfly, Violetta and the Countess Almaviva brought to life before our eyes.

Entrees include a chicken-and-white-wine-sauce, New England seafood in saffron rice and fresh pasta with tomatoes, cheese and eggplant. And finally a warm baked pear crisp with tangy Raspberry Melba sauce.
