AUTHOR'S NIGHT

Here's some food for thought...Each month we host an author who speaks about his/her book and answers questions from the audience. The book is available for purchase that night, courtesy of Haley Booksellers.

Wednesday, May 23:  William Landay, "Defending Jacob"

Currently on the New York Times Book Review's Best Seller list, "Defending Jacob" is a page-turning novel of crime.  It has already been commissioned for a movie by Warner Brothers.

Landay is a former Assistant District Attorney in Massachusetts.  His first novel, Mission Flats, won the Dagger Award for best debut crime novel.  His second novel, The Strangler, was nominated for the Strand Magazine Critic Award as best crime novel of the year.

"Defending Jacob is an amazing novel.  Do yourself a favor and read it.  It's that good" (Nicholas Sparks).

All Author's Nights begin at 6:00 and end at 7:30.  From 6:00 to 6:30 his books will be on sale courtesy of Haley Booksellers.  The talk begins promptly at 6:30.  Light antipasti will be served from 6-6:30, and a cash bar is available throughout the evening.

Reservations are not needed for this event; however we recommend that you come early as seating is limited.  Plan to stay for dinner!
