Following our SOLD OUT Leonard Bernstein Centennial in early May, SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE OPERA returns on SUNDAY JUNE 24 at 5:30 with a light-hearted evening of live music and food entitled “THE FRENCH RIVIERA!”
The singers and pianists of Boston’s OPERA-ON-TAP will once again present a varied program, including classical opera and song, musicals and operetta. Since June 2018 also marks the Bicentennial celebration of France’s most famous opera composer Charles Gounod, we’ll take the opportunity to salute him with some of his compositions.
In keeping with our French theme, the evening’s menu will borrow from classics of the Provencal kitchen.
